CUBITY receives recognition in the “Exemplary Buildings in the State of Hesse” competition and travels to North Rhine-Westphalia as a CUBITY Atelier House. The CUBITY-LivingLAB now becomes a pioneering place for knowledge transformation in the municipality of Merzenich (Dueren district).
On December 23, 2021, the building application for the new location in Merzenich was officially handed over by the foundation’s Chairman of the Board, Dipl.-Ing. Architect BDA Markus Schmale. “With the prospect of preserving the hereditary forest and the Hambach Forest, the municipality of Merzenich plays a special role in structural development compared to the entire Rhenish district. With the CUBITY Atelier House, our foundation offers a pioneering location for knowledge transformation,” explains Markus Schmale.
