Architecture students from Cologne University of Applied Sciences met in March for a project development course at the Findeisen Foundation’s CUBITY to design concepts for the revitalization of the Rhenish mining district.
For the project “Bridging the Gap – Unifying People and Planet,” the best concepts for the transformation of the Brückenkopf of the 1st Hammer Railway Bridge were awarded to students at CUBITY.
On May 2, 2024, the Zukunftswerkstatt Merzenich, in collaboration with the Next Economy Lab, hosted a dialogue workshop at the CUBITY.
On April 19, 2024, an informational event organized by the CDU Merzenich took place at the CUBITY Atelierhaus to inform citizens about the CUBITY project and the planned redesign of Poolplatz.
The CUBITY receives the “Exemplary Buildings in the State of Hesse 2020” award. Following the recognition in 2022, the official plaque for the title has now been presented.
